Description
During development, particular attention was paid to stability, which means that the angular profile can withstand even heavy impacts and easily survive a nasty crash. Nevertheless, the weight is within an acceptable range. In addition, the enormous inner width gives the tire perfect support, which prevents it from buckling in fast bends and ensures greater riding stability. The rim ends are joined together using the sleeve-joint method. In this process, a molded part is pressed evenly into both ends of the rim profile and the rim is joined together. The holes for the spokes have been reinforced with eyelets to prevent them from tearing out. The high-quality workmanship typical of DT Swiss guarantees the rim a long service life. In addition, the shot-peened surface largely prevents stone chips, so that it appears as good as new even after many descents.
